Where energy meters are used

Central heating and cooling systems are safe, efficient, quiet, and convenient, but their shared gas or electricity bill does not show the energy used by each apartment, office, or commercial unit. Bruntab resolves this problem by installing heat/cool meters and a complete consumption-allocation system.

What is an energy meter and how does it work?

An electronic heat/cool meter combines the volume of circulating fluid with the temperature difference between the supply and return pipes. Each meter contains two temperature sensors, a flow sensor, and an electronic calculator. The calculator determines the thermal energy consumed by the connected residential, commercial, office, or industrial user.

The meter transmits its readings by wired or wireless protocol to a central reader. Bruntab’s EEMS platform stores and analyzes the data, displays measured parameters, produces reports, and issues an itemized sub-bill for every unit.
